Michael grew up boating on the waters of the Puget Sound in the Pacific Northwest. The son of a WWII Navy veteran and aluminum boat builder, he had the unique experience of hanging out in his father’s shop watching the process of designing and building boats from the ground up. One of his favorite memories is taking his dad’s custom 42-foot aluminum trawler from Tacoma up through the Inside Passage of British Columbia to the islands of Southeastern Alaska.

In High School, Michael caught the music bug and went on to earn a music degree from Seattle Pacific University and then moved to Nashville to pursue a career in drumming. Playing live turned into managing artists and booking venues and his path led him to San Diego in 2012 where he continued to work in the music business booking country music venues Moonshine Flats and Moonshine Beach.

When Spring 2020 came around and music venues were closed due to the pandemic, Michael decided to take sailing lessons, rediscovered his love of boating, and joined the team at Infinity Yacht Sales.

Michael enjoys geeking out on new spreadsheet formulas and project management software, weekend sailing, and keeping up his drumming habit a few times a month playing local venues around San Diego. Give him a call or email or reach out on social media anytime to connect!
