Ken Manzoni grew up in Northern California sailing with friends and family out of the San Francisco and Monterey Bay areas as well as up and down the Pacific Coast. Manzoni has raced sailboats at a professional level for most of his adult life and has won National Championships in numerous one-design classes. He has now called San Diego his home port for nearly 30 years and was notably the skipper for the ‘08 Southwestern Yacht Club’s successful campaign for the Lipton Cup.

As a US Coast Guard licensed Captain and Sailing Master for over 25 years, Manzoni and his wife, Heather McDonald, have owned and operated several yacht charter businesses. They are credited with pioneering year-round whale watching in Southern California and currently own the Adventuress Luxury Catamaran.

In addition, Manzoni has been a Maritime Coordinator and Consultant to Hollywood for over 20 years. His screen credits include: Pirates of the Caribbean (1, 2, & 3), Master and Commander, Captain Phillips, Top Gun Maverick, the Sea Beast, and many more. Over the past 5 years, Manzoni has also been a licensed yacht salesman, helping preferred yacht owners realize the happiest day(s) of their lives!
