She is an extremely active boating enthusiast. She is USCG Certified in Coastal & Advanced Coastal Navigation and holds a 100 ton USCG Captains License. A native of Manhattan Beach, Ca., she grew up in and on the water, surfing & water skiing at a very young age. She has been racing sailboats in excess of 20 years and has participated in countless races on a variety of boats. In 2007, she became a recognized member of the Transpacific Yacht Club by racing from Long Beach, CA to Honolulu, HI (19 days at sea). Deep sea fishing & worldwide yacht deliveries are high on her list of fun activities too.
