The most dangerous thing you can do to change your life is to buy a boat. Because for most people the lifestyle will become addictive and will affect everything you do from that point on.  This is what happened to me in 1993 when I bought and moved aboard a sailboat on the Hudson River in New York.  After sailing the east coast for a few years, I cruised through the Caribbean Islands and sailed up to San Diego.  This led to a second career as a Yacht Broker in Southern California.  Over 20 years and more than 1000 yachts sold, I have met many great couples and individuals that have found pleasure and family togetherness as boat owners. During part of the last two decades I was a Board Member and Past President of the California Yacht Brokers Association.  I have owned four different boats personally and just recently returned from a season cruising the Mexican Gold Coast.  I am happy to be back and look forward to consulting with all clients and helping them with the sale of their boat or finding their next dream boat.
