Captain Ethan Barr learned to sail when he was only ten years old. He moved into competing in sailing regattas before enlisting in the Navy, where he served as a Chief Engineer. After completing his service, he joined the private sector in the mega-yacht industry, where he traveled the world. Ethan earned his first Captain’s License 23 years ago and quickly rose to a commercial Captain level. Having owned his own yacht service company abroad, he felt it only natural to start another one in Florida and now services San Diego, CA, as well.

Ethan divides his time between yacht management, yacht deliveries, and providing superior service for vessels larger than 50ft. Yacht sales have always been on his radar. Ethan loves working with people and utilizing his knowledge to find them the most suitable vessel. He enjoys talking about boats and helping people realize that being on the water is one of nature’s greatest gifts.
