Captain Marcus grew up sailing, surfing, and fishing the east coast of Florida. After graduating Bucknell University, he joined the Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer and spent three years driving warships throughout the Pacific, including Japan, the Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, and India.

After his tour in Japan, the Navy sent him to San Diego where he served three years as the Navigation Officer on Littoral Combat Ship 22, USS KANSAS CITY. While living aboard his boat in San Diego for the past three years, he has spent his free time surfing, diving, sailing, fishing, and captaining boats with his 100 Ton Master Near Coastal license.

His passion for boating runs deep and cruises hand in hand with his love of the Southern California boating community. He has truly developed a passion for matchmaking the right buyer to the right boat, and his knowledge of the boating community, coupled with his hard work ethic and unwavering integrity, makes him a very successful guide for those looking to connect with the right boat.
