VERY RARE ONE OWNER BOAT
The Hans Christian 44 Independence Trawler, often referred to as the Independence 45 due to its length overall, is a rare and distinctive vessel. A total of **19 units** of this model were built between 1985 and 1996.
This limited production run contributes to the vessel's exclusivity and appeal among long-range cruising enthusiasts. The Independence 45 is renowned for its robust construction, semi-displacement hull design, and spacious pilothouse layout, making it well-suited for extended offshore voyages.
The Hans Christian Independence Trawler is very unique, and the story of this particular boat is one that is rare. A one-owner boat, the owner has been to Alaska 16 times and up and down the west coast many times as well. Although this particular vessel has high hours, the owner has done extensive oil samples over his tenure as of ownership, and the vessel is ready for its next chapter. Oil sample records are available upon request. Vessel comes with the pictured dinghy, which is an Inmar 12 ft. Aluminium bottom with a 20 HP outboard and helm steering. Generator runs well and is a Northern Lights with 2100 hours on it.
